As problematic as the studs can be at times, wonder if it would be worth investigating change over / conversion to stainless V-band connection?

I know I don't have to tools or talent to weld them onto the cast manifolds. I think you might as well switch to headers and do a PSD style up pipe. Or go the R&D route for the hot side. All of which are viable options. I think I'll be fine once I get it connected up right and now I know to watch for it.

Knowing is half the battle!

I may have just dated myself a bit there.

Left off the fuel filter bracket?

Ding ding ding!!!

Put the alternator bracket on because the wires were tied to it and I needed them on before the IP. Put it on. Checked belt alignment. Huh. That's off a bit. Shim the Alt bracket out a washer width. That's better. Belt is straight now. Getting ready to put the valve cover bolts in and I realize that the reason I wanted to put them in first was the filter bracket is in the way. Doh!!

LOL

I thoughts the way they were supposed to be.
sure does look cleaner lol

as far as the crank pulley, it must be the angle.

and another thing that's incorrect is painted stainless.
you get points deducted for that at the local good guys.
