I'm sorry. Every time I see the title of this thread, I think someone named Carolyn McCarthy is in here talking about banning "the pipe thing that goes up"... ;)

these are damn near ready,
ill be getting up at the crack of dawn to final weld these badboys.

the price is $650 to your door.
I will purchase your old Y for $100 after you install.
if you have any Y's laying around, you do not have to purchase these for me to buy them from you
I will have 5 available to ship on Monday!

You did a great job on those btw!

a bit of a update for you folks!
I had a question about these up pipes fitting with Justin's return rails.
while they physically fit, I.. personally would plug the end and perhaps even shave it down a bit.
this is completely up to you if this is the way you choose to go.

well ****. went out to the shop this morning to hopefully make these pipes up.
but in an effort to get the price down a little, I found cheaper bellows.
I do not like them.
there bigger and more bulky. I did one and I do not like it!
time to order some more.

Is the material and thickness equivalent to the Vibrant? They may be cheaper because they have fewer bellows that arent as tightly formed. From the pictures, I would assume that the larger flex pipe is most likely made out of thicker material, hence why the bellows are larger. This would suggest that they would be less flexible but much tougher.

Of course they could also be made of a lower end allow that is harder to form such as a 440 whereas I know Vibrant really likes to use 304L or 316L.

they are just too big and bulky. too close to the injector.
cant place them back any further because of the firewall.
ill stick to the good stuff, it was also 304 SS
