What is this vertical bar tow hitch?

Anyone know what this style of tow hitch is for? Never seen anything like it, doesn’t seem too strong or anything think it’s on a Subaru

Easy place to attach a strap to pull something out. I have one for my CJ5.

Huh fair enough. I’d figure the small diameter/bend radius isn’t ideal for attaching a strap but not heavy duty

Its the edition for towing electric vehicles with dead batteries......

......man, I want a CJ.....ummmmm..... id trade my 93 bronco title for title for a CJ5 or 7 in similar running condition......

I used to have one of those.......
It's an ATV 3-in-1 hitch, Ball, strap bar, and a hole for a garden cart type thing, they're only rated for 1500lbs or so for the ball, 500 on the pin hole IIRC.
