Well the tranny has 220k in it and I think no one opened it before so I decided I would do a check up and replace the bearings in it. I'm glad I did, it all looks well except for the input shaft syncro and the bearing race. I think it is all one piece so I'm working on the bearings and seals maybe I'll have to get a new input shaft if I can't find a way to put a new race in it.

Well after a few extra parts that I had to order I finally got the tranny back together and ready to go on the truck. Thank You John for figuring out the shifter cover mystery :hail:thumbsup: I was fighting that dang thing for days so now I can install the tranny. A few more things here and I'll be finished.

I'll post some pics later so if anyone attempts to rebuild one of this in the future there will be a spot where they can get some help.

Thank you, EZ for everything on Sunday. Now I have lots of parts and lots of work to do to the truck over the winter. Hope I get it all done! :rotflmao Glad I could help out with the trans.
