New front end shackles were delivered. So on rockauto it's would be $386 for every single part brand new to fix her from the accident. Goes to show how stupid insurance people can be. And to repair EVERYTHING as far as aesthetics on her would be about $550. Lol people....

I agree 100% granted mine needs a new dash and a new headliner amongst other cosmetic things. How many miles did yours have on it and what insurance company?

mine had 89000 miles on it. insurance company is NJ Manufacturers. guy knew what he was looking at. He noticed that it had a solid axle and a mint no rust bed and gate that i got for it. They even let me keep the truck. Sadly its still sitting in the garage in pieces and I'm giving serious thought to just selling her to someone who will put her back together.

Saw that coming.....that sucks. Pretty much any time an insurance company has to deal with an old vehicle they total it, they have no interest in keeping something old with a low premium on the road. At least if you have no interest in selling it the salvage title wont mean a whole lot.

Mine just hit 250k. Bed is perfect and tailgate isn't far behind. Really the only part of the body that doesn't look extremely good for its age is the roof... Previous owner was a hack and instead of getting rust off the right way he put epoxy over it lol. But I can cut that spot out and weld in a patch. Make it look like it was never there. I'm gonna try and dispute their decision, I've had several people who are knowledgable about insurance claims tell me I should and all gave me very useful tips and tricks.

You keep posting pictures like this and I'll have to bring my truck to you!

Bring her by! @Thewespaul and I are more than willing! Got an order of pads in for my buffer too. So after I finish getting her back together with the new parts I'm gonna go crazy on the body work. I used to be really in to buffing and such but have gotten lazy over the past few years. But this kinda got me the kick in the butt I needed. I love my more than is healthy lol but shes got some dents that are begging to be pulled.
