Yep, thunk - thunk, + no rewind, no fast forward, the only options you have are changing tracks or muscle thru when an unappealing song plays. My my, we've all become spoiled!

Also has to get the fuel filter cleaned out since the dummy dash light/stall will quit, it's a early 1993 7.3 stock n/a n has the bowl less filter on it well wish me luck.

I was going to install the Bilstein shocks, but one of the fronts had a messed up bushing. I did get a stubborn and crusty brake hose replaced and managed to get one wheel polished

Wheel looks nice. It's sad when a "quality" part like Bilstein is delivered with a glaring defect. Counterfeit?

I'm going to second the speculation about a black market part. That weld doesn't look like it's going to hold for long...

i just changed the thermostat on my truck, i thought the IDI thermostats were a little pricey at around 40. the one for my DT set me back just shy of 100!

i tested it against my old one though and it opens more than twice as wide. i was wondering why my temp gauge was refusing to come down very well towing on hot days.

Then I swapped out my IP with one from my parts truck. Now if I can get it timed correctly I should be seeing some progress! Seems to start better already though.

I recall the old radios that were actual radios and not computers. They had AM, FM, and some mechanical push buttons to change stations. Are there any sources for non-digital radios besides the junk yards?

NOS on ebay, but not so cheap. I saw a Zenith with 8-Track sell for less than $100, and it was NIB.
