Compared some old zd9 plugs against newer and current production zd9 plugs. Still the same length.
Going to try the 80034....with bullet connectors added. Have avoided them in this truck because of wanting to keep the stock controller. Plan to put the 80034 plugs in place of the zd9s with no changes to truck, will see how the controller functions. Have a button added already, so if it wont keep them on long enough it won't matter.

I ended up doing the manual push button modification on mine to see if this helps the glow plugs last longer. I have had at least one glow plug burn out with in two to three months ever since owning this truck. My hope is this will help them last longer. We will see.
