I cut off the end of my turbo elbow when I did my downpipe to connect to the super duty 3.5" exhaust
I had a 3.25" v-band laying around that I had originally intended for another project for a holset, so I used it.
I used a 3" ID pipe to start the downpipe and tack welded the down pipe into it. It is impossible to pull the thing out form the bottom if it was permanently welded as one piece, maybe with a body lift.
Anyways just wanted to share.
My truck sounds like a jake brake any time I am decelerating above 1800ish rpms. (no muffler) I love it
