Do we have a "tried and true" mechanical lift pump brand for these engines?
So many of us are tired of our Facets that cant keep up, but we could still use them to prime for starting (among other things) if we are smart about it and got back to a mechanical pump.
All we need is a few check valves and hose to route the facet past the lift pump and then it's no issue if the diaphragm ruptures, but I'm wondering if there is a best quality lift pump out there like the Motorcraft thermostat or Beru glow plugs.
Thanks guys!
Edit: perhaps a lift pump rated at 5-6psi instead of the 3-4 most of them push? Since all stanadyne IPs are calibrated at 6 psi it would make the most sense to run that.
