Hi in the Cascades, Nearly- Redmond,Oregon
I asked above.....Do the 80034 plugs go ahead and seat well in our 7.3's?

What I meant was that somewhere before it had been mentioned that someone has machined or dressed off part on the hex so the 80034 or the 60 G plugs would seat into the head.
I never was clear if they meant about seating farther into the chamber or rather they meant seating and sealing into the head.

Did some google searching, and everything I came up with, is the 24 is for my 86 F-250.
The 34 is not compatible with my truck.

80034 is for 1994 - 2004 GM
Chevy 6.2L & 6.5L
Yes the 34s are for the GM engines. The biggest difference is that the spade is narrower than on the ZD1As.

I think that the Boschs will work are they are, but the AC Delcos won't seat correctly.

The 80034 fits without modifying plugs or engine. Has narrow spade terminal, and gets hot slower than oe plugs for ford idi. Great for manual control.

80024 interchange to 12g. IIRC the 12g was self limiting but in 6.9 plug size, no modification required. On paper they would have been great, but when I bench tested a set of 8, all failed after a few lights with 2 blowing off the tips. I read at the time that it was because they sat on the shelf too long and absorbed moisture, not sure if I believe it, but that's the story.

Just ordered 16 of the Bosch 80034 GP`s from...
https://www.boschsparkplugs.net/bosch-0250202126-80034-glow-plug

They had 16 and ordered all them all.
$8.80 better than the $10+ Amazon show`s, which I wouldn`t buy from them anyway.

The 80024 I ordered in post 87, are made in Japan.
Be interesting to see where the 34`s are made.

Notice on Amazon the 80034 are made in China.
