I eventually ended up finding a wire in the speed sensor harness about midway between the axle and frame that was had about 2 strands of wire keeping it connected

I was wondering about this in particular since it "worked for a few minutes" after you replaced the sensor. That's why I'm kinda grasping at straws since it doesn't really make much sense why it's acting this way.

Chris, as you know, Raylan is pretty clean. Looking at the wires, they look good and I doubt that if I were to start pulling off the convoluted tubing I'd find anything.
