PSD guys like to do the Stancor relay mod for their glow plug system. This relay is beefy looking, about twice as big as what comes stock on a IDI or 7.3 PSD. So, we decided to do a relay mod for the black truck (88 F350).
But, as we were treading in new waters, we werent exactly sure how to wire it up. So, on the two large terminals we have the battery hot, and the glow plug harness on the other side. One the two terminals we have one grounded, one has the WTS light, and also has the momentary toggle hot switch going to it.
But, even with the WTS light wiring on the terminal that only gets power when the switch is activated, the light comes on whenever the key is in the on position. Can you shed light on this?
Pics to come. This relay is HUGE
