I am building it. It is in place but I just have it going straight in the intake. I fit the inner cooler out in front of the radiator and hanging down between the frame.

It looks great. What does it measure if I can ask? I’m just about to pull the trigger on one but not sure if the size. Then on to the winch bumper

It was last night, but I didn't feel like posting after I got home. I went up to Nebraska and brought home a 1986 Honda TRX250. That's not the main story. As I was leaving, I was about 5 miles south of the town where I picked it up when I heard a squealing noise. I slowed down and turned down the radio and it went away. I thought that it must have been something in the radio so I stated to speed back up and heard it again so I slowed down again. Then I noticed that my volt meter was reading 11.9 volts and started to smell something getting hot. So I stopped. As I came to a stop. smoke was rolling out of the front of my truck so I shut the engine off. I opened the hood and shined a flashlight around. I noticed there was some bubbling liquid on the alternator pulley coming from under the vacuum pump belt. I couldn't move the vacuum pump pulley so I knew that I had found the culprit. Naturally I hadn't taken any tools along to even remove the belt. The belt was loose so I tried to just slide it off of the alternator pulley. As I pulled on the belt, it just stretched until it broke so at least it was off.
Then the fun began. I was lucky enough that I only had 5 stops before I got home during the entire 2 hour drive (part of the beauty of living in a very rural area). I had to stop at the first one because of oncoming traffic. There wasn't any traffic at the 2nd or 3rd stops so I rolled through them at a whopping 3MPH. The 4th stop was at a traffic light, going downhill. I had to turn left so I cheated, I cruised though a gas station parking lot to skip the red light. The last stop was on another downhill so I just decelerated for at least 1/4 miles before the stop sign and rolled through it too.
The alternator works just fine. I'm going to put my spare vacuum pump back on before I leave the house. I'll stop off at my garage and rob the vacuum pump belt off of another truck before I go on into town to buy another new belt.

@idibI have essentially this same thing, DIY style. If you are worried about space though, consider a water-to-air CAC instead.
If you go this route and won't be pushing over 350HP, consider 2.5in piping instead of 3". Much easier to fit and work around later on, while giving up very little WOT performance.

Wonder if the oil leaked out of the Pump bearing?
Love the smell of burning rubber...LOL

Last sept at 3am 75 mile or so from home out in the bad lands of Nevada, her this tink tink tink of something hitting fan blades.
Open Hood and there is the vacuum Pump hanging by one Bolt.
Had tools, but no extra Bolts. Didn`t see where the belt was at that time. Got home 5:30am.
When we finally go up around Noon, went out to investigate things, and there was the belt neatly tucked under the Upper Rad hose, w/o a scratch.

Good thing this didn`t happen when were coming through Las Vegas.... Earlier in the day.

Replaced Bolts and Belt, but this time used Lock-Tite.
Had extra Lift Pump and spare Vac Pump and plenty of tools.
never occured to me to have extra bolts for what ever part falls off the truck.

Good to hear you made it safely home.

Hi in the Cascades, Nearly- Redmond,Oregon
The old tires had summer air which is lighter, and the new tires have winter air which is heavier,
that`s my theory... stickin to it.
So dang near $1200 later and we have new tires. Old tires were 8 and these new one`s are 16 ply.

I learn something new every day!!!!! THANK YOU @Old Goat !!!!!!

Last time I had to put new rear tire on one my TLB tractors (Blew one) bout 4 yr ago they quoted me about $1450 for 2. So I thought & thought. Called round looking for used tires. Finally decided heck with it. (New tires outlast me in this lifetime)
So I pulled them one at a time off, carried them up town, let that guy out at Schwab shop mount new tires & tubes & flaps.
Turned out that couple weeks before I had had a flat on truck. He had stopped & helped me. We got to talking. (Couple weeks earlier we had lost a son)
He got thru, figured up the bill......$1100 for 2 new 14 ply tire sets etc etc......16.9x24

Drove my truck into work to throw some stuff away. Ended up using er to drag a wood chipper unit back to the shop for service. Dually turbo sure handled that unit like it was nothing. Data tag said trailer was about 7500lbs curb weight.

Tuesday went to the Dump, had my 5 x 12ft Box trailer piled high
with Sage Brush that was getting too close to the shop.

The Parking Brake was suddenly got low to the floor with one click,
and would barely hold. Noticed the thingy that the 2 cables from the
rear wheels was at an angle and loose.
Jacked up the back end, removed both wheels. Pulled the drum to take a peek, right side looked ok, gave the adjuster a few clicks.

left side, the little Cable that runs from the top and curves around
to the metal goodie that hold the adjuster wheel, and is suppose
to do the auto adjusting. The cable wasn`t attached and disconnected to the metal adjuster goodie.

Reconnected the Cable, but the adjuster thingy is bent/tweeked
and doesn`t set tight to the adjuster wheel.
I had this all apart about 6 weeks ago to replace the leaky Wheel Cylinder, and had trouble with it trying to bend it to fit right.
Maybe a new one come`s in the Hard Ware kit of brake Parts...

Got it back together and Lug Nuts torqued down.
Now the Parking Brake hold`s at one click.

Starting tonight and all week to next friday, snow/rain cold...yuck.
It better hold together till next week.

Bought a set of these fender side lights off E-Bay a couple months ago, dang they are bright.

Then starting searching for LED`s for the front turn signal, Park lights. Couldn`t find what I was looking for, but found these that
are for a 73 - 79. And are the sequential lights for the turn signals.

Now this is for my Bull Nose.
Made a card board template, set it over the lights and traced around it. Then with my Dremel and a Diamond cut off wheel
cut out the center of the light, so the new light would set inside it.
Then using clear RTV will hold it in.
It comes with a plug like a 1157 light bulb has. So is plug and play.

Should look great when I finally finish this project.

Then the stupid Dremel c ***** out, thought it was over heating and just quit. Then would start back up for a bit and quit. Tapped it on the work bench and start back up...
So guess she is done.
Picked up a new one at HD Last night, sure cost a lot more that it did 20 years ago....

Edit: The "C" is ok, but the R A P E D is not...OH now I see why.

Maybe I should have spelt it with a "K"? kraped....
or maybe 2 P P`s.

Today I went treasure hunting (actually buying) again. I scored again. I picked up an intake, 1 1/2 sets of injector lines, other engine parts, what I believe to be a N/A E4OD flexplate, and a (almost) set of aluminum rims. Three match, one has smaller holes outside of the lug nuts. The oddball matches the two that are on my truck now, so I have 3 and 3. They are close enough for me still so I won't worry about that. I bought a set of Enginetech pistons with rings. He claims that he's used the brand several times and hasn't had a problem. I'll probably keep them to use on a budget engine build. The thing is that they came wrapped in paper that says Mahle on it. That could be from something different since the rings are already on the pistons.
