Installed new water pump, fan clutch, hoses, etc. Wasn’t a particularly difficult job, but it was time consuming considering all the brackets that have to be removed to get to the pump. The only real problem I ran into was the inlet tube on top of the pump. The tube was almost welded to the old pump and I rounded off the nut trying to remove it. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find a new one, so I finally clamped the old pump to the bench and used a pipe wrench to remove it. Also discovered the right side negative battery cable was splitting apart, so had the opportunity to replace it at the same time. The front of my engine hasn’t looked this clean since I bought it. LOL.

It’s going from 50 degrees to 2 degrees here tomorrow within the same day.
Yeah the eastern 3/4 of the country is really going to get hammered.
Here in the western edge of Nevada our temps are going up, we have been in the deep freeze past couple weeks.
today 45 and Christmas day, 56.
But there is some krap coming down the pipe line
Monday thru Thurs.
Stay warm and safe guys...

I know that it's a little late, but I got in the habit of breaking that fitting loose while the water pump's still bolted to the engine. That way it's being held for you.

Since the big winter storm is coming tomorrow night, I drove to town to fill up the tanks and buy some anti-gel. Nothing too exciting, but I definitely wouldn't be very happy if I had an emergency and the fuel was gelled up.
I also got in 75% of my order. The last quart was on backorder. -cuss
Well it wasn't much of a back order. The last quart came in today. Now, hopefully, I can find a warm weekend soon so I can do an oil change and a transmission fluid change before I head south again.

Yep, that’s exactly what I should have done, and realized it too late. I’ll know better next time.

Happy feeling when they actually stop when the Peddle is applied.
Be sure to keep the rear brakes adjusted, and don`t trust the adjusters to work.

What group size are your batteries? I notice you have the plastic Hold Down on the drivers side.
I picked up several from PNP and don`t work on the group 65`s. too narrow.

Me two months ago wiring the harness: I’ll just cut this wire while troubleshooting the brake controller, if it’s important I’ll figure it out later

2 months later: why do I only have half the rear lights

OK, Thank You. Looks like the same cranking amps as the Group 65.
I got mine at Costco, think around $100 ea.

Maybe the group number has to with the dementions of the battery. IDK.

Mr. Goat, my status level is coming up.....LOL
