Last Saturday I hooked up the trailer to Tank and picked up a new toy/tool

1971 Cub Lo-boy 154. Not in the best shape, needs some love for sure, and is missing a couple parts. Has a 60" woods belly mower though which should be nice in the back yard. Came with a partly installed Myers plow frame, but the way it was installed I just pulled it back off. I'll redesign it if I decide to put it back on.

Picked up and brought home a bucket list item for the shop. Took a little over half a day to get it installed. Still have a few things to button up tomorrow, but it's functional, and happiness is a 72 degree shop on a 92 degree August day.

Now I'm jealous. I can't take the heat like I used to. About all I could manage today was mowing the lawn. I even gave up on the idea of weed eating. I'm sure that the weeds will still be there. It was around 100 here.

It got all the way up to 64 degrees here, today.

Didn't do anything with the truck, except move it so I could get by it with wheelbarrows of gravel.

Got most of a level path made around the side of the house today.

If you knew the terrain and my health, you'd recognize that as a minor miracle.

Course I had some help from the neighbor.

Took the ole girl for a ride. Sadly this will most likely be her last ride.

I went to visit a friend who lives about 100 miles southwest of me. He runs a body shop and I took him a small trailer deck to sand blast and paint. It doesn't show up real well, but I took this just as the sun was starting to peek over the clouds in the east. This is on the bypass around the bridge that's being replaced. About 5 minutes earlier and the picture probably would have turned out better.

Big Red has stayed busy moving things around. Mostly building supplies. Hauled a load of pine needles and pine junk away.

Moved a pop up camper for @pafixitman to help him out. He can fill in the rest of the story if he wants. LOL

Must have been karma because randomly my dome light started working again.

It worked when I put it all together. I’ve tried to fix it a couple times and couldn’t figure it out. Randomly it just starts working again. LOL

Damnit I hate to hear that. Looks like she's having a good time. Good on you for taking here out and letting her enjoy the ride.

I'm staring that in the face with my old guy. 13 right now. Stairs are off the table these days. But he's happy and still getting around so until he's not doing well........

Yup, she’s 13 as well. Still does stairs ok albeit slowly but I can tell the fire is dwindling. She’s got a bunch of lumps that are spreading so we’re just enjoying her time with us
