Need a IP Adjustment Tool

I've read that a stubby wrench goes a long way on the IP removal/loosen/adjust.

Here are the IP tools in the official kit. Before I got a kit I ground an obstruction wrench thinner and cut a section out to make a flare nut style wrench.

Thats a funky one. Its like an elongated obstruction wrench had a baby with an offset wrench.

Whats the big half moon hook doodad for? Is that to turn the IP and hold it in place while you tighten the nuts?
