Best practice is to stick the shop vacuum on discharge, onto the tail pipe and pump air up the exhaust valve.
Set each cylinder on open exhaust cycle and blow the carbon out...
Turn brush counter clockwise like unscrewing it..

Been running Moose Misters and a Baby Moose for about 70k miles with zero issues. Now that I have a turbo installed looking to go bigger soon.

Question on return lines, Moose Diesel is supplying the return line kit, do these kits generally include the grommet/gasket for the rear return line fitting or do I need to source that somewhere else?

No they do not include them. I'll bet that they can include some for an extra price if you ask. They are commonly called olives.

It can be. If it doesn't seal, then that can allow fuel to drain back to your tank which will let air into the system.
