I smell diesel

I smell diesel, all the injector caps are nice and dry........But that darned valley pan isnt. Looks like its time for a pump.

could be the pump...you checked the return lines for leaks? theres one that goes from the passenger side under the cdr to the driver side, mine was leaking there before. good luck

Yeah, it might be the return line that crosses over from the left to the right bank. It will sometimes rub on something and leave a huge mess on the valley pan. The weep hole on the bottom of the IP in the other likely candidate. I had my last IP died that way. Diesel cost too much to let it leak all over the place he..he...he.

Also it could be the fuel supply line to the back of the pump, but its usually either the pump weep hole or that crossover return line.
