Cracked injectors?

has anyone ever run across this before? I have two like this

Yikes. Who did you get those injectors from and who installed them? Those were grossly over torqued

They were in the truck. I’m changing my injection pump and decided to go through my injectors while I’m in there. I was thinking overtorqued. They have some kind of engraving on them

Looks like E20k to me or maybe 320k? Usually if a stealership installs injectors they engrave the mileage at the time of the install.

My guess is these are rebuilt injectors but can't say who did them. Sad mess if you ask me. When you removed them did they come out very hard or easy. Just make sure you have the old gasket out of the bore if they did not come out with the old injector. NEVER stack a new gasket on the old gasket. Install torque is 35 ft lbs.

Yes they came out easy. But two were like this and looked hammered on

I was thinking to many shims and a big wrench? probably thought it said 135'. I got the same marks on my Injectors.

Well good news got my new turbo injection pump in with new injectors and it’s like a completely different truck

For right now just a hair advanced from static marks. I need to have it timed correctly but for now it should be close enough to run ok.

Any Southern California runs for people with a timing meter???
