I need to rebuild the center section of the turbo on the 93.
The spool has lateral movement ( side2side)
I see kits with " drop in" and then modified housing rebuilds.
School me on what I want for towing 100% of the time.
What Do I want for low end grunt and pulling hills?
I see wicked wheels, bigger wheels, cast, billet, ect.
Running justins 80/90 and bb codes.
Feel free to drop links.

Some side to side is fine, so long as the wheels are not touching the housings. If its not, I'd run er.

As for builders, other than any generic turbo shop, only vendor I know of since Russ's passing is CDD. Could see if Peterson CNC is doing them, I heard he took over Russ's e shop.

Russ was so good at that stuff. I have one of his gone through turbo spares for my PSD on the shelf. I'd reach out to Justin as he's selling all the other "support hardware", hopefully he has a good place to point you towards.

He told me he could build me one, but I need to figure out exactly what I want as far as wheel configuration, oversize, bearings and such.

If I remember correctly....
I talk to Russ just prior to his passing
( R.I.P. bud) and he told me something about his builder/ machinist not being accessible any longer.
So his recommendation was R&D.

I'm going to look around, as I just found out one of my wheeling buddies works for a custom turbo company.
We're going to meet up at hollister in a few weeks to wheel and do 20 questions.
