    Quick timing question

    Do the injection lines need to be loosened to rotate the pump? or is the movement not enough to put them into a bind? I finally got my hands on a timing set and found out I'm at 5 deg, so I'm thinking about line width is right. and it needs to rotate to the drivers side? correct.

    injector o-ring size

    Anybody happen to know the size off hand? I don't have an injector infront of me and looks like access to an injector tester fell in my lap. Just put new return lines on, but not sure how well the o-ring will survive when pulling the injectors. Would like an extra set incase I need them.

    cracked everything?

    Had a friend tear down an 7.3 engine (92 with an ATS turbo) this weekend and found eight cracked pistons and two cracked heads, heads were cracked in different places on both heads. What would cause this much damage. Overheating?

    Flex plate what is the difference?

    I'm changing engines in an '89, F350, crew cab, 4x4. on the way out: 7.3 N/A going in: '93 7.3 factory turbo engine that I believe came out of a F250, 2wd. Here is my problem: 89 flexplate: Doesn't look like 93 flexplate: What is the difference? Is one better than the other?
