I always put a big piece of card board down when changing fluids. Seems like even with that it splashes, or I spill getting it out from under the truck, or into a container. There does not seem to be a spill proof way when it comes to fluids! As my lady so elegantly captured on FaceTime, I changed my oil and walked away from it for a couple minutes and I have literally no idea how this happened but it was a surprise
Then went to Oriellys with a full 5 gallon Home Depot bucket. Pour it into the big tray on top, it starts to come out between the tray and the oil tank hole. They have a screen on the oil tank hole to keep debris out of the tank. They don’t evidently clean it, so the 4.5 gallons of oil overwhelmed it because it was 90% clogged. It backed up like a plugged sink and flowed over the hole sleeve and all over the tank on its way to the floor. What a mess, friggin fluids! It was their bad but I felt bad and helped clean up the mess.As my lady so elegantly captured on FaceTime, I changed my oil and walked away from it for a couple minutes and I have literally no idea how this happened but it was a surprise
Two requests, please. Not much today after work, but I did get the bed pulled off, to get ready for the flatbed. Planning on a new rear fuel tank and gooseneck hitch while it's off then mount the flatbed. The Zf5 is sitting under the truck right now but not in yet. I had to cut the exhaust and trim the firewall a little bit. Should slide right in when I get around to it over the weekend. I am hoping to get this all wrapped up by the end of the month. I don't want to be crawling under the truck in the snow. You must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attach
Rock
I took them of the parts truck, so I didn't buy them, but these look like the same oneshttps://www.carparts.com/details/Fo...gEo--I-eT4s1gY7l5QxoCaDsQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.dsTwo requests, please.
Do you have a link to those steps?
And could you get us some good pics of exactly how they are installed?
Thank you.

That's exactly why I like these steps. When I bought the truck it had cheapy aluminum steps, and if you actually stepped on them they would bend. Into the scrap pile they went.Wow those look like you could ACTUALLY STEP ON THEM!
Thank you VERY much! You've given me better ideas of how to install different steps.@SelahdoorYou must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attach
It’s got about 16 years on me but the folks before me didn’t treat it very well so I’m assuming it’s a comfort thing it’s not used to being servicedHe just needs to train that darn pickup truck to quit marking its territory in the garage!
That truck is twice as old as Laine is, you'd think it would know better by now.
