Yep... the guideline that we use is, the forum is like a group of friends sitting around a campfire.... the conversation may stray, but as long as it isn't completely off the rails, we let it take it's course. Most times it comes back around.

How can something not be something? Something can’t be not be not something! If you’ve created a something, than something has to be that something, otherwise you haven’t created a something!

Scott, vote yourself a raise. IMNSHO: You do a great job of moderating. You give everything enough leash to run around, but as you see things going from a little messy to genuinely over the line/personal, you drop the hammer. I can't help but make the comparison between your rules and Calvin's moderation as they are very similar.

To the rest of you: keep up the good work, both on topic and astray.

My personal add on the "There's no such thing as a fish":

Mickey's a mouse, Donald's a duck, Pluto's a dog. What's Goofy?

So buddy's sick of the damned tropics eh? That too can be complicated. Looks like if a fella wants to go snorkeling with sleeping sharks he's gonna have to put up with the heat, humidity and locals. Speaking of sharks, I hear there's a new law prohibiting the use of plastic bags, plastic straws and Styrofoam food containers. I seen Bigfoot once...
