Nope, you are correct. The black one is an '87 4Runner with a solid axle swap and the white is a '95 also with a SAS.
Awesome I used to own a '85 r22 4x4 lifted it was a project daily of me n my cousin up until he passed away

Good thing the blow out was on the trailer. Those aren't usually too bad. The few I've had on the truck, on the other hand, I usually had to find a place to remove the ruined drawers after I got the tire changed. That was back when I tried to save money by buying used tires. Since I started buying them new, I haven't had one blow out on the truck and rarely have a flat. As much as a tire repair costs these days, I believe that I'm actually saving money by not having them. Pay more up front or pay more later. I'll pay more up front and avoid the inconvenience of flats.

I tug a 24' Pace enclosed around. 10,000 lb GTWR. It is often stuffed with various old cars. Got the trailer since it was big enough to fit my '62 Mercury Monterey Wagon.

The truck needs a turbo, and I have plans to add one in the not too distant future. With the range splitter, the old 6.9 just doesn't have enough grunt to pull the trailer along at 70 mph in 4-High. It is fine in 4-Low, but with the 4.56 rear, she is limited to about 63 mph. That said, it does do much better than the 390 FE powered '76 F-250 I used to pull that trailer with.
