So ive been toying with the idea of pulling the motor in my truck over next summer while I can drive something else (the trucks a necessity during the winter months up here) and "building it" its only got 117k on it no and I project itll have around 123k at the most by July.

Using the factory turbo setup , with studs, typ4 cam, an rd-90cc ip, new injectors (from wes, typ4, or r&d), upgraded fuel pump from my facet, r&d intake, downpipe mod, stage 1 drop in turbo, and cross over pipe what kind of power could I see?

With that pump you will be in around the 200 hp at the wheels. If you’re doing all that work, either max out the stock pump and get more fuel than a 90, or go with a 110 or 130

I don't want to completely make the truck a fun vehicle so I was trying to stay conservative, maybe a 110 is a better idea.

The important part here is the banks turbo. You upgrade the turbo and all of a sudden the 90 gives just a puff of smoke...
the truck had the banks but the r&d parts really made an improvement.. not saying other brands wouldn't do the same.

the truck will roil coal hard enough you cant see behind you if you want to,and it just takes off.

i stay away from hotdog pumps due to the fact I feed my trucks WMO. pumps get their lives shortened signigicantly when running anything other than straight #2. that being said, with my ATS 093 aftermarket kit plus ATS IC kit, a modified cold side on the 093 and a Typ4 cam, I can walk in my throttle at off idle and the power is already coming on at 1500 rpm. before mods it was starting to come in at 2k rpm. night and day difference when pulling a 10k/lb trailer behind me going from sea level to 8k/ft. Great usuable power and more importantly, no overheating. Dynos only give you a condensed story, pulling in the real world, numbers don't mean ****, but usuable power is king.

I agree a hundred percent! I do not pull with my truck. I use it as a home owners truck , occasional trailer being pulled once or twice a year. I love looking at dynographs where all the power is made for a whopping 700 rpms and isn't usable at all.

Maybe I wont upgrade the turbo and just use my factory turbo. Not trying to go too crazy on my truck just a little more pep in its step than stock.

When you need it, send it off to Typ4; besides the exhaust, performance wise all I've done is add a rebuilt turbo by Russ; the truck at least to me, has some grunt. I feel entirely confident with a 10,000lb trailer behind me(I guess I should state, I don't care who's passing me, I only care that I'm getting where I need to safely; slower is better).

I will say I completely disagree with this statement.

over the last 4 years at hunting 4 horsepower I have seen roughly 10-15 idis dynod there most of them being stock turbo trucks of ats or banks for the vast majority of them. As a general rule a stock idi with a turbo will put out about 190 whp and i have seen 1 or 2 at 15 psi turned up pump exhaust and intake break 201 whp. this year there were 6 idis that i know of that dynod. all of them except for 4 dynod in the 190-197 rwhp range. another heavily modified 6.9 with a 90cc pump putting down 237 rwhp and i forget what marcrobb laid.
a turned up factory pump is also not going to be over 90 ccs. a stock turbo cal is in the 70-75 cc range.
I can also tell you with a ats 093 a wicked wheel 2, 3"dp, 4" exhaust and a hypermax ic on a 7.3 with a turbo cal pump not turned up 226rwhp can be done on 7psi of boost.
I get atmospheric changes outside air temp, boost, fuel system health, vehicle health, dyno, and driver all play huge rolls in dyno numbers but after seeing so many idis dyno in the same range with mainly a turbo on them and laying down almost 200rwhp to gain between 15-20+ ccs of fuel and only gain 5rwhp is silly.

that being said to the op I would guesstimate that you would be in the 225-240 rwhp range depending on all of the variables if you kept that build list.

Read the db2 tuning guide in my sig. I got 107 ccs out of a stock pump....
