TTB: 85 D50 vs 94 D50

while planning on building 2 broncos, for the price of none,
ive came to the conclusion that 1 of them will need to keep the TTB D50

ive got a 94 F250
and a 85 F250

the 94 has missing hubs, and is currently under the 94 soon to be bull nose.

I have a 85 F250 parts truck with everything intact.
even has new hubs.

my question is, what parts interchange inbetween these years if any?

is one better than the other?

K so long as u dont have ******* D44hd/D50 setup then all parts fully interchange as far as I know....

D44HD/D50 is what .....k dunno his name but a gazillion pages of how to remove spindle nut thread guy had....an honestly thats an oddball rare unit.....

So determine whatcha got.....100% n then we can talk.

If I recall correctly, the inner stub shaft on the passenger side of the case was changed at some point from the early 80's models - it was bolt on originally vs. snap ring retained (mid 80-s to 97). That is the only change that comes to mind - anybody have a pic of the old style or am I just smoking something?
I still have a D50 on my rig. It's not as glamorous as the D60 but holds up just fine. Because people nearly throw them away for a D60 they are crazy cheap used. I bought a complete axle with good gearset for pennies this spring.
