Cant tell without a meter...

Rent Garys meter...check make informed decisions

Then dont **** around take the time to solve the issue correctly aligning timing marks.

Does anybody think it would do damage to drive it 50 or 60 miles?
It seems that the engine temperature comes up a little faster and it runs a little warmer than normal.

I guess I should not have asked which way to turn the gear to advance it but which way is normal rotation?

So.... I was 1 tooth off, retarded, I got my fuel leak fixed, hopefully its not leaking oil anymore (or it's slowed down a lot) thank you to everyone who gave me help and hints.
Hope it passes DEQ tomorrow.

Thanks Russ.... I work Thursday thru Thursday
IDIoit, what, me hard headed? You can ask my wife of 26 years and I'm POSITIVE she would tell you that I'm not a bit hard headed... not even a tiny bit.

I'm positive.

I actually thought it was a tooth advanced.

So I just went through DEQ and passed, but they did not give me an Opacity reading. but it runs alot better, now I've got to get it timed.
