How do you do it, and is it worth it? I live in NC, so cold temps are not a big deal, and the truck starts fairly easy.

I would relocate it under the rear of the cab, outboard of the frame rail. Just run new wiring.

OK. So it wont fit in the battery location I am guessing. Or would the battery tray need modded to be stronger?

As for wiring if you did leave it up front, yes, just remove the wire that runs to the driver side tray near the rad.

I want to relocate my batteries to the passenger side frame rail closer to the starter but have no want to delete a battery. My truck has and will start with one battery but the moment you gulp a little air you will need the reserve that dual batteries offer. Remember, when voltage drops, amperage increases, increasing heat exponentially fast working your way to a cooked starter.
