Plugs in filter housing of the oil cooler???

Are these post filtration or pre???
Im wanting to run my turbo oil feed straight from post filtration so I get the cleanest oil possible.
Does anyone know if these are what Im looking for?

Looking at my service manual (CGES-340-3) 6.9l engines, it looks like the post filtered oil goes straight back to the block from the filter. The 1/4" NPTF pipe plug facing directly out from the block is post cooling tube, and the lower one, 1/2" plug states it is a "Location for by-pass filter oil supply." what ever that means? Don't know if this helps.
