Good idea with the stand off log, looks like you know what you are aiming at! I wasn't sure how you were gonna get that done but it's coming together nicely.
I know Justin at R&D IDI Performance used to sell thick exhaust manifold mounting plates for DIY stuff like this, if you want to go that route.

Keep having fun and thanks for all the pictures. :popcorn

Thanks, more Im flying by the seat of my pants finding a way to get exhaust to where I want the turbos. It is a process of weighting variables to find what would work best with what is on the table. Using stock manafolds would work for the drivers side, but the passenger side would need a long 120* tube ran off the bottom. This would make the manifolds far from equal and would need to come up with a bracket to support the pass side. Also putting the wastgates on the original outputs could cause issues with them breathing fire out short dumps, there is flammable stuff under the truck. So making my own manifolds seemed to be the best option on the table, so taking two rocks to try starting a fire and hoping I dont start a forest fire.

In the end have two gasket matched plates.

The end tube sits all funky and had to shift the others over a slight bit.

Like this all the tubes line up with the plate.

After its welded, its going to be an adventure to get the end one sorted. If was to do this again, Id say not to try being slick and have a round end cap.

This end tube was annoying me, so I be beat it up some and ground a edge.

Since this one was a problem on the other, so did what I could to prevent it from being funky first.

Using the plasma just made a mess and the slag left was giving issues with my burr's, so went back to cutting first.

So the second is fitted up and now have both base sections done waiting to get welded.

I made templates to recheck placement based on what I made. The driver side will be fine with a starght 2in riser. I am also going to change the fitting off the pump to a banjo for better fitment.

This side wants to sit at goofy angle and have to find another spot for the heater hose.

Based on what I saw in mock up, this placement sould be fine. So made a template to copy to tube.

Then cut the base manifold to desired length and opened it up to the tube.

Now testing fittment and found a happy accident, going to have to tweek it slightly to fit better.

As far as the heater hose fitting location, there's another threaded hole that's the same size toward the back of the head, also right above the exhaust manifold. All you'd have to do would be to swap the plug and hose fittings around. Both heads have two plugs in these locations. Both heads also use the front hole and the rear one is plugged with a square headed plug.

Yes I was seeing that, what size are the ports on the intake side of the head like where the glow plug temp sensor gose?

Yes, curiosity killed the cat but wanted to know how many licks to get to the center of the tootsie roll.

Reason for this tapper is to get the tube to about aline with the flange with minimal porting needed.

In the end have a placement I like.

I believe that they are all 1/2" NPT. The same with the holes in the lower parts of the heads. I think that all of the external, threaded coolant ports are 1/2" NPT with the exception of the one in the block where the factory temp gauge sender goes. That one is 3/8" NPT. I can't swear to all of this though.
