Maybe look and see if you can find an hx35 for cheap, it’s on the small side but they are readily available

Yep that’s about your limit on stock headbolts. The hx35 would do the trick. Are you going to use the stock pump turned up or a built pump?

Then it’s probably just core price ~100-150. Past 150k they normally are on borrowed time.

huh.. my last one was an 83. it had over 300k before i sold the truck.

also will the hx35 mount to those flanges?

Theses rotory style pumps don’t last that long without wearing the head/rotor. Your 83s pump had probably been rebuilt at some point. Measure the flange on the manifold and find out if it is a t3 flange. If it is you’re golden and the hx35 will bolt on.

That is your downpipe, you will most likely have to cut the flange off and weld one on that bolts to the hot side of the turbo
