Today I set out to replace my glow plug controller. All I've had for two weeks is the clicking for 30 seconds. Already replaced plugs.
Got controller changed out, now I have no wait to start light and the truck will not start just turns over. It's 90% here today so I would've thought eventually it would start, it's been taking it maybe 6-7 seconds to fire.
So after messing with it most of the day I put the old controller back on. Still no wait to start light and still won't start. Any ideas on what I've messed up?
Batteries are strong and fuel tank is full.

Check your fuses and fusible links, you probably grounded the ignition wire while back there.

Fusible link I think, FSS wasn't working, disconnected my fog lights and ran the hot over to the FSS. Trucks started right up. Hate to ask and sound dumb but that's how I learn so...... Where are the fusible links on this thing? 1990 model

I should add I had the Batts disconnected but I did knock the hot wire against the post once climbing in and out while working on it
