So 2 things, first one might be a dumb question but I have to ask... does the glow plug controler send power to the wait to start light or give it a ground to illuminate it?

Second:

I've had the nose off my truck for a while now and can't seem to figure out where these wire plug into.... any ideas? Brown with a white tracer and black. 12 or 14 gauge wires Not really long enough to reach the engine but I can't seem to figure it out. If you guys could share pics that might help too! Thanks!

That funky lookin' connector with the blue wire goes to the wait-to-start light

The 7.3 controller grounds the blue wire, lighting the wait to start light.

That connector and wires looks like one that runs down under the brake booster....

Hmmm -- put that pictured controller on my '93 7.3 and connected that connector to the mated connector on the truck -- works fine

The blue wire does go to the wait to start light, It provides ground for lighting the bulb. Wait to start light bulb has key on 12v to it and controller sends ground to light it.

I think that shorty pair your referring to are for diagnostics or an accessory you don't have. I have a '93 and mine has that and it's not hooked to anything like yours.
