IP rebuilt lost power!

thats funny, forgot all about the torque screw.

i have heard about he torque screw before. what is the big deal with it?

it limits travel of the metering valve in the pump. adjusting it out is like flooring it farther.

ya it was all the way in.I didnt find much info on where that tourqe screw was supposed to be set at but spun it out just over flush with the top of the set nut.The guy that rebuilt the IP just screwed everything all the way in.Well thanks to all the good people on this site with there very helpfull info im learning alot about these awsome motors!

would it be reomended to "tinker" with this torque screw or just leave it be?

well being mine was screwed all the way in,im sure it needed to be screwed out some.But from what in know it also gives more fuel at idle not max full at WOT.Just watch them EGT'S if you adjust it.
