I'm trying to kill off my Banks Turbo Gen1 intake air box and get an intercooler on my 7.3.

Will I need to reclock my turbo to intercool my truck? When do you need payment by?

You can weld stainless with a stick/arc not the best but will work

I'm trying to kill off my Banks Turbo Gen1 intake air box and get an intercooler on my 7.3.

Not sure its that exact kit, but it is a Frozen Boost set-up. Worked well on the old dually and it will soon be on my '57. Very good quality stuff.

That coat hanger downpipe was a fix on the side of the road in an emergency job!! Never could get the damn ring to seat well enough to take more than 10-12psi...

Probably cant bend one that short, and I cant weld stainless yet.

Russ, if you have a mig welder, put stainless wire in it and a bottle of gold gas or tri mix and pull the triger for stainless. if its tig, keep practicing, its hard to make it look like you want.
