It's ok, but I thought than someone should poke fun at you for it.Sorry bro. Ha! Ive been busy with projects on the farm, and started a new job designing shipping centers for Amazon. Its been kind of crazy lately.

Of course, it would have been much funnier if someone had posted a picture of Greta Thunberg with her line of "How dare you?" underneath it.Sorry bro. Ha! Ive been busy with projects on the farm, and started a new job designing shipping centers for Amazon. Its been kind of crazy lately.

Realizing this is an old thread,,,, Dustyman might consider price comparison of the gear vendors total cost (including driveshaft mods & 4x4 limitations), with the costs of simply changing gear ratios. You could change just the rear first (remove front drive shaft for safety) drive for a while to verify the new gearing provides the improvement you're looking for, then do the front axle. OR another route might be larger diameter tires. I put a set of 19.5" commercial tires on 4.10 geared truck and it's a nice final drive ratio for highway use.Read the whole article, considering one myself.
My truck is a F350 4x4 6.9/C6 410 gears, dually ambulance with 9500 miles on the clock, getting it sorted out from sitting so much. Checked the MPG and got 12.7 driving 55. Would like to do better but more importantly I would like to get the RPM's down. At 65 mph I am running over 3000rpm and don't like it. Thats kind of a minimum on major hiways these days. I'll keep reading. Would love to get this thing up to 15mpg
