E-break

A guy I work with has a 1990 f250, the ratcheting part of his E-break doesn't work and was asking me what years interchange, can any of you help?... thanks.

A guy I work with has a 1990 f250, the ratcheting part of his E-break doesn't work and was asking me what years interchange, can any of you help?... thanks.

The 80-91 will be the same from what I've seen. 92-96 may work also, but they sometimes have an issue with their self-adjusting mechanism that causes them not to hold. The 80-91 do not have that built-in self-adjuster, their cables are tensioned externally where the 3 of them connect together near the rear driver-side spring's front hanger.

OBS e-brake mechanics are mounted on the steering column support.

not too sure about the bull nose.
