TP, and an extra "blanky" for my daughter. If you ever go out and forget your child's security blanket/toy, you'll understand. The thing is......... that daughter is 21yrs old now and doesn't need a "blanky" anymore........but I still have one in my glovebox........ just in case.(it's been in whatever truck I drive for 20yrs)

My older has her little buddy, and my youngest has her blankey. I 100% understand man. I always have TP

Vaccum pump (which I just had give out in the middle of the desert 300 miles from home) field repair
jump box/jumper cables
Mechanic jump suit
Jack/tire iron/have Ryobi impact 1/2 as well
funnel
ratchet straps
old spare belts
Fire extinguisher!!
2 gallons spare diesel
spare oil for fuel/top offs
Brake fluid/vice grips to punch a torn brake line
Tekton 1/4" drive socket set/extensions/various step bits for drilling
Quart of ATF for power steering and fuel additive
heater core block off barb fitting (Heater core went out...at night...making it hard to see far from home)
fuel line/heater hose/clear hose and a bunch of different types for power steering return/return lines
Injector o-rings/copper washers
voltage regulator
rear diff abs/T-case VSS/Speedo gears
rear driveshaft seal/bushing/U-joint
grease/gear oil/Seafoam/Simple Green (green and purple lavender ) windex/shop towels

This Lisle 39000 (also sold as Napa 39000 for more) is insanely useful for (v-belt only?) pulleys. It's paid for itself several times over just for vacuum pump replacements. It also worked for a Saginaw pump pulley though. I think harbor freight has a knockout version but I don't know how good it is, since I have a Napa one I bought in 2017 for a sudden vac pump replacement in the Texas panhandle.

I must have the unicorn of vac pumps...changed once in 16 years and it wasn't dead, just low vacuum. Can't you just rent a puller at parts stores?

@SouthernIDI Normally I keep everything in two totes but now I have a service bed that I put stuff in. I bring all the above on my trips to CA for work. Most of the time i'm 5-10 minutes from home and have friends that can bring me whatever I need so I don't lug all of it around all the time.
