Champion radiators and fan shroud

Hey all, so I'm finally gonna look into this....
After swapping out my brass rad for a 3core aluminum one, I have almost an inch of space between my fan shroud and the radiator. I'm pretty sure thats affecting the air flow efficiency, so wanted to ask, for those who have swapped to a champion aluminum radiator, what did you do to fill the gap effectively?

I have a champion. Went out and checked, the gap is on the top and the bottom, and on mine it's only like 1/2 inch. I never noticed it before, but have been running for years like that with no problems. A piece of some sort of rubber or stiff foam mounted to the shroud should take care of it.

+1 on the same question - i have the same issue on a Mishimoto 3 row.

If all else fails, maybe some pipe insulation might help. At least that's widely available and pretty inexpensive.

I went with the pipe insulation route on my 4 row Champion radiator.

this or 90* bulb seal is what i used

i didnt notice any cooling improvements, but it made me feel better

My dually has a 4 row champion with no gap. My shortbox has an Amazon special champion knock off (with side bracing and better construction tbh) and it fits better than the champion.

Another manufacturer to consider is Alloyworks. Right now I'm on the fence between Champion and Alloyworks. Anything's got to be better than the parts store cheapie I'm currently running.

ok after actually putting In the work to look through the Amazon purchase history I did in fact buy an alloy works rad. it fits GREAT had to reuse my stocker rubbers for the bottom and had to trim the sides (my first round of intercooler piping got there first)
