and every single one has a ground strap for electrolysis prevention.

After reading about that problem, I've started adding a ground strap to my aluminum heater cores. I just use a hose clamp to clamp one end of a wire to that part where the heater hoses attach and use an eye on the other end. Then I run a sheet metal screw through that eye into the fire wall. Does it work? I don't know, but it does make me feel better.
