a midget I saw at McDonald’s,
Boy he must be short. He can't even find pants short enough so they don't fall down!
I have a radiator hose leak, that only happens sometimes after I shut the truck off and when it’s cold out. So I think the clamp is messed up or something. It’s annoying though.
I've seen this before with new hoses and reusing the OEM constant tension clamps. You may only have to tighten your down a little bit.

Apart from diesel being almost 5$ here in the great state of California, this truck is very enjoyable to drive around. I’m still very impressed with how well the pump and turbo mesh. Literally the only thing holding back power is my lack of desire to stress the head studs out so I keep boost around 15 psi.

Looks real good Laine.
These fuel prices are plain unbelievable. Here in Pa we're at 4.35 a gallon.....
I'm sick of this...
It's getting hard to afford anything the way prices have gone up...
It's only making the economy even worse...

What’s really annoying about it is there’s really no way around it. Like you can’t just avoid buying fuel like you can some other stuff. Even with my little car it still costs 65 bucks to fill up. I miss the days where 3.65 was expensive.

We just hit 4.89 today. Fueled up the truck I run at work and it was $173.

Can't help but wonder where it's going to end up.

I remember when gas was $0.19 per gallon back in the early 60's. This was in SoCal.
The cheapest that I can remember seeing was $.56 per gallon. That was in 1986. Some radio station and gas station were having some kind of promo going on for a few hours. I can still remember gas being $.86-$.88 per gallon when I was in high school in the late 80's. Diesel was usually $.10 per gallon cheaper in those days too.

I remember getting diesel for $.75/gal in GA in probably ‘97 or ‘98 back then it was always about $.10 cheaper in GA than TN.

I’m losing my ****. No brake lights, everything else works great. Worked fine yesterday, I’m pretty sure. Haven’t gotten rear ended. I have power through the switch on the pedal, fuses are good, trailer brakes work, wiring looks fine. I have no clue what’s going on.

Do your tail lights work?
Do your flashers work? (I believe they also use the brake lamp bulbs.)
Check the grounds.
Maybe your brake light filaments in your bulbs have burned out. So check the bulbs, maybe the wiring is fine.
Remember you can always put your arm out the window and use the arm braking signal.. Old school!

Well... Just fueled up this morning, now we're at 4.89 as well...
It's getting to the point where I am seriously considering burning old motor oil mixed with diesel..
I just don't know how it's gonna affect things under load.

Filtered well and mixed before adding to the tank you'll be fine. Might lose a tiny bit of power depending on the ratio because the viscosity changes can affect timing.

If you don't mix it well before you add it you may have some mild surging from the difference in viscosity.

Would it work just as good to filter and mix the ATF/motor oil/gear oil before adding to tank or do you have to upgrade truck filtration?

Edit-did research and answered my own question
