ford van camper turbodiesel/biodiesel 6.9 IDI
1985 E250 Clubwagon 6.9 Turbodiesel van. we've decided to slim down the paddock of vehicles..the 09 unlimited wrangler didnt hardly ever get driven..and even with TONS of room it just didnt have enough for all our gear and the twins/oldest's stuff too... so...its the vans turn...replaced...- Wanderer-rrorc

too much wmo? hard to start after sitting 6hrs
so I threw some filtered waste motor oil in...5-6gal (but unsure if I used the 15 or the 5mic filterbag as the number was worn off) then had to change the fuel filter after it plugged up within 10min of running (old filter).. now even on days when its 60 at night I have to plug her in...- Wanderer-rrorc

THANKS mother nature!!
with the last few weeks being in the 70's and tickling the 80's I decided to run some WMO...and I ran it THICK!...50%.. I had noticed before that my high idle kickes off just as I get on the road and will surge...but I wondered if my fuel filter was startin to plug up..but it didnt do it any...- Wanderer-rrorc

c6 drain the converter too??? n modulator ??
or just drain the pan and be done?? and my c6 shifts really soft to 2nd,,alot of times it doesnt seem to shift into first at stoplights....modulator need adjusted?? which way??:sly- Wanderer-rrorc

whats this radiator fit?
I thought I was getting a 6.9 rad...measurement I got from the guy was close..figured he didnt know how to use a tape... mines 31in long.... this ones 37!!...he said it came out of his late 80's ford he installed a 6.9 into... new bumpers!!
well im in the process of converting the van into a pop-top style camper...its gonna retain the stock seating snd such...but with added storage... got it gutted...got the floor preped and painted next is the insulation for sound and heat... waitin on payday for the sound/heat insulation...- Wanderer-rrorc

greenlighted what injectors/pump?
the wife has greenlighted the van getting new injectors and pump... its 144K had a pump put in it at 75K per receipt with the van...I put a return line kit on it last year (bout 3k ago..she doesnt get driven much with the new jeep..but is gonna have a FULL few years of tow-duty for a 6k...- Wanderer-rrorc

time for IP and injectors? gutless..
did a tow lastnight with the van... got 9psi boost (and got out of it!!..dont wanna blow the heads!)...and 935egt....doin 55 up a pretty good grade...on the floor!! and barely holdin 55...barely... wife was following me..said it wasnt smokin bad at all... best guess is I was draggin...- Wanderer-rrorc

HELP!! IP adjustment problem!!
I've ruined 6 5/32nd allen wrenches today... I cant seem to get it to turn... I did turn it up twice since I got her...last time it was too much and I backed it down a flat...now I cant get it to go in or out...
