    Timing adapter. will an inch make a difference?

    Hello all. So the 7.3 comes with a timing adapter on the #1 cylinder. I gather it's designed for the Rotunda timing system. So if I use my MAC pulse timing adapter on top of that will it be far off? Or better to use the #4 cylinder so I can get the pulse adapter closer to the injector? Thanks!

    Modded my factory 94 turbo

    Here's a few pics. Wrapped the pipes and cut off the restrictive 2.25 opening on the turbo elbow. Did a bit of grinding and slipped a 3 inch pipe in and welded it tight.

    Old style trailer brake controller vs. new ones.

    My rig came with an older style trailer brake controller that splices into the brake fluid line. It works fine. At least I think it does. When I manually slide the lever I can feel the trailer drag. Is there a reason to move to an all electric controller? Why?

    cruising rpm?

    I'm running a 6.9 with a C6 behind it, and a US Gear OD behind that. (.75) with 4.10 gears. Tires are 9.5x16.5 which are about 29.5 inches tall. My Isspro tach says I'm running around 2500 to 2600 rpm at 65-68mph. According to the internet gear calculators I should be at lower rpms than this...

    I can hear a faint "woofing" or "whoosing" sound from my air intake hose on my 6.9. What does a leaking injector sound or feel like? My engine idles smooth, runs smooth, cranks smooth, but has that funny sound. Any ideas? CDR?
