Here's the scoop, I've got too many rides in the stable for this one to be driven regularly. You name a price, or let me know if you want any big ticket items.
1990 F-Superduty
- 133k original miles, supporting documents, maintenance records up to 100k from 1st owner. I'm the 3rd owner.

I've got an OBS F-150 at work with near mint interior trim behind the doors (the plastics that go around the rear of the interior). My custom doesn't have the stuff, or even a headliner. So - the question is - can I swap the trim into my truck?
These pieces even have speaker holes... would...
As you all know, I am one of the select few bestowed with the privilege of owning an F-Superduty. :hail:angel: One problem - I don't know jack squat about the dern things! I've created this thread to set some things straight that have been gray areas.
Wheelbase?
Lug pattern?
Tow...
Short story short, I caught the dome light on fire and pulled the whole unit. Since then, my glow plug buzzer hasn't been really audible inside the cab. I can hear it faintly, but everything seems to be in working order. Is there a relay I should check, or a fuse?
As some of you may, or may not know, I'm currently doing a semi restoration on my F-Superduty. The following is in regards to obtaining a parts truck, sans putting a dent in my wallet.

If I get into this truck for, let's say, $900...
Welp, I did it... took her out for a test drive without the hood and lost my air intake plastics. I'm looking for the part that sits on the core support and comes back to the housing; I'm in no need of the housing.
Post or PM with a price.
:thanks:
Her name is Rosa - According to the PO (second owner since conversion), she started life as a 78 long bed 2wd. Frame chopped, D44 under the front. 351M, 4spd. T-Case unknown, but "it's the gear driven one". He even threw in a york compressor.
Welds are quality, workmanship on conversion to...
I have this build going on on several other forums, and I'm warming up to the wealth of IDI followers here, so enjoy!
Let's travel back in time. Six months to be exact. I'm cruising around in my Chrysler Sebring Coupe minding my own business... and BAM! I now want a new truck. Off to...
Okay guys, I'm off to start college near mid June and I'm planning. Gotta drive from Atlanta to Daytona Beach in the IDI and I'm looking for some pointers on maint stuffs I should take care of before departing.
460 miles from A to B, looking at about 7-8 hours of non-stop driving.
The offer of the day... not sure if I want to take it up or not.
351, C6, 150k, rebuilt tranny, all working t-case, etc... outlets inside and out, captains in rear, 40% tires, pretty nice body.
Price, you ask? My F-Superduty.
Went to remove the interior cab light bulb today and broke it... in the midst of that, the contacts touched and flamed up for a second. So I broke out the screw driver and just removed the whole unit.
Anywho, I went on to install some sound deadener and finished that. When I went to start...
I've decided that in the future I'd like to work for myself. I currently have a regular bed on the truck (PO bought it with a utility bed but used it on his other truck. Hence the swap).
Anywho, I just wanted to know what dimensions I need to look for and anything to look out for with the...
Moving to Florida - no snow! more heat! long trips! Need air!
I'm not so sure I want to go as far as cowl induction, but I was wondering about running some duct work to the grill. Not sure if anybody has done it.
Thoughts? :D
7.3 N/A with el stock-o exhaust... I'm thinking about doing a muffler delete, but I'm worried about back pressure.
The exhaust was disconnected at a flange before the muffler (Don't ask me... PO) and made a mess of things. I had it welded back together and it runs great now. But I'm still...
I can't see a proper place to mount a spare on my F-Superduty without doing some crazy hacking. Keep in mind the midship tank and rear tank. Also putting an air tank on the other side of the midship.
I could go with a bed mount, but that's the last thing I want.
Any drw guys got a good...
Finally got a belt on the compressor and all is well, but looks like a vacuum problem is causing the vents not to work properly. I need a diagram or some suggestions please. :D
Okay, some of us know just how rough a ride these trucks can be, let alone an f-superduty with the stiffest suspension this side of the Mississippi.
Question is, have ya'll ever stalled out after hitting a bump? cookoo
If I hit a hole or bump, I get thrown up into the roof of the cab...
First off, thank you to Junior for introducing me to the site! Sure does help out having a wealth of knowledge a click away!
About me: I'm a young buck, 18 year old. I am an aspiring Ford collector, only a couple in the stable now, but growing. I plan on attending school for heavy duty diesel...
