Been thinking about getting one of those...what brand is it and what was it about that that you liked it enough to get it..?
Milwaukee, M18 FUEL

It’s big enough to cut through a piece of 4 1/2” pipe. That’s why I wanted it. I have had excellent luck with Milwaukee tools. My previous set of DeWALT tools didn’t hold up well. YMMV

Because of @IDIBRONCO seemed to be having all of the fun riding motorcycles and three and four-wheelers...I could not stand it any longer...The Girl and I have enough room to play with so...I took the plunge and got a motorbike.
So what is it? It has a carb so it's probably not brand new. It only weighs 250-265 Lbs so it's no too big either. A lot of suspension travel tells me that it's probably a mono shock instead of a dual shock model so its probably not extremely old. It's a PITA to start so that makes me think that it's a four stroke.
Just for reference, here's a 1974 Suzuki TS185 that I picked up as a (early) present to myself for paying off my house. I'm no Suzuki fan, but this line is extremely reliable. I had one that I taught my step brother how to ride on. I got rid of it back in 2005. I go to show it to him at his mom's memorial. he thought that it was ok, but after removing the Yamaha 200cc three wheeler gas tank and putting a nice looking, correct one in it's place, he thought that it looked pretty good in the pictures. After ordering more parts for it yesterday, to make it what I consider to be ride worthy, my $500 motorcycle is now a $1200-$1300 motorcycle. That cost adds up as fast as a IDI powered truck, but it's all part of the game.
When the nostalgia wears off, I have a 1993 YZ125 that I bought with a bad engine a few years back. Since it's a one year only model, at least as far as the piston and electrical go, and I hate one year only models, I'm planning to put the Suzuki engine on the Yamaha chassis.

Today I used my truck as a frame puller.
Elderly lady whose lived across the street from me since.. Freakin forever, accidentally decided to try and have an argument of space occupation between a wall and her car, and the car lost.
Wish I had gotten a picture, but I used my hitch and 4 lo to pull her front end out enough to align a little better so the hood would open and shut again. Crazy, she has a 1995 Chevy Beretta, 60k original miles on it. Was mint until she hit a building with it :smoke:

Good Golly !! Looks like I wound you up and set you off !!!

Good sleuthing...1990 Suzuki DR350S. At first I was going to pitch it and take a loss...but after a good nights sleep I decided that it was not going to beat me. I got it figured out but it was a solid month from seeing it as a forward on my phone from a buddy to starting it up within seven kicks.

Ordinarily I would have fallen for a Yamaha or a Honda. But, after taking some time to appreciate this one, I kinda decided to keep it for a while and invest some time and money in it. Even with the gimping around for the better part of a month...

Glad I found some common ground we could talk about.

Gotta figure out how to install a cupholder on it. Shouldn't be too hard...

I'm planning to put the Suzuki engine on the Yamaha chassis.

I just saw a frankenbike that you reminded me of...had all sorts of odd stuff that made it up.

I put a new fuel pump on, the Walbro died. Bosch pump from a 99-03 7.3 Powerstroke and a fuel pressure regulator. Much better, holds 6 psi from idling all the way to redline under full load/t
what fuel regulator did you go with?

The only dead head regulator I could find was a Mr. Gasket.
Went to Holly red pump at the tank, the regulator and gauge between the updated separator and IP.

Picked up a remote gauge, plumbed in the sensor mount but have it capped off for now.
Have to reconfigure the pillar gauge stack.

Good sleuthing.
Thanks. I have a thing for small details.

That should be a good little ride for you. I know that the DRZ400 was quite a bit heavier so I knew that wasn't a choice.

Maybe, maybe not. All I can say is that when I'm into something, I'm into it. I absorb information like a sponge. I used to be into MX bikes, but these days, I'm more into older, slower bikes. A guy who lives a couple of blocks away from me has, or did a few years back, a newer YZ450F that had scary power. I said that it's fun for a little while, but I prefer something with less power that I can ride all day.

I totally agree with that. I grew up riding a yz125 from 1995 then went to the new at the time Honda cr125 aluminum frame. Then went up to a yz250 and finally got into a cr650. I just sold that bike yesterday it was a crazy beast. Waaay to heavy and waay to hard to start and waay to much power. I rode the wife’s ttr230 for a while but was just a little small Now I’m on a honda300 with electric start. It’s just right. I can put around the single track and have enough power but easy to handle.

I went out to start the truck before 6 AM so I could go to Menards. I got outside the house and saw that there was a light on inside the truck (wth?). I thought that it was a courtesy light and I had left the headlight switch turned to that position. Nope. It was a map light beside the dome light. I've owned this truck since January of 2013 and the map lights have NEVER worked (***?)! The dome light used to work, but never the map lights. It had been so long since I tried messing with them that I didn't realize that one of the switches was in the "on" position. The truck started easily enough so the light hadn't been on all that long. I left at 6 AM. I stopped on the way there to take a picture of the sunrise. On the way home, I stopped at the location where there used to be a town and took a few pictures of some of the remaining buildings. Some of the buildings and houses are still occupied/kept up so I didn't take any pictures of those. Overall, it was a boring drive which is the best kind.
Couple fixer uppers there for sure. They sure need some love.
Kind of like out IDI`s.
Be interesting, when were they built, who lived there, how many different families, when were they last occupied.
Sad to see things slowly decomposing....

I hauled a big lump of iron (DT466C) home. The Ford C700 engine plan may be changing.....

Was that a locomotive engine? Looks like it has a side sump pan on it.
