I am trying to eat a 'mater sammich...and you won't let me for laughing...What I think is just nuts is that the ad mentions that it has a 10 speed transmission like that's important or something

With a 20' bed? A F'ing LOT!and doesn't say one line about the number of beverages that can be safely accommodated.......... just crazy!
I actually have laid on piles of #57I'll bet you that it had something in there to help the driver pass the time away...and not be thirsty...even if it was cobbled together outa corn stalks...
Who knows..? It could have a bean bag chair in it..?
Speaking of...has anyone ever made an easy chair outa a pile of #57 gravel...? I just did a while ago and it wasn't too bad...got a chance to look up at the sky and ponder...
sorta like making yerself a sand sofa at the beach...but not quite like layin' on a bed of nails...
I guess he could have @XOLATEM ride in the bed and hold his drink and cautiously hand it to him through the window when he wants it.With a 20' bed? A F'ing LOT!
If he can lose a drink out the passenger window, im not sure how safe your drink would be. Alot more places to lose it from a 20' bed.I guess he could have @XOLATEM ride in the bed and hold his drink and cautiously hand it to him through the window when he wants it.
Yeah..? how would we know what to do when...? hand signals...? eternal vigilance..? sounds like a lot of work...I guess he could have @XOLATEM ride in the bed and hold his drink and cautiously hand it to him through the window when he wants it.
I just figured he'd (she'd) text you when they want a drink or some type of "clair voiance" thing. I know you're not supposed to text and drive but everyone else does and this is already rediculous.Yeah..? how would we know what to do when...? hand signals...? eternal vigilance..? sounds like a lot of work...
Maybe we could get head sets like they use in general aviation planes and communicate that way..?
I don't have too good of a track record keeping a coffee upright without a dedicated cup holder...
If I gotta ride in the bed...I want a setup like a subaru brat...but turned around facing the front...with a pair of goggles and a tanker leather helmet.
I just came to my senses...what is the upside of this arrangement...??
And...don't be trying to cash your check at the bank with me up there...
I got my hands on 350 gallons of Valvoline full synthetic 5w-30 a while back, and it runs just fine in my (non-cupholder equipped) truck. I mix it 50-50 with diesel for easier starting, and thin it 10% in the winter with gas. Here was my thread about the oil:Any experience with synthetic? Yay or Nay?
WOW!!!, Great save with the non-cupholder insert. I was concerned this was an "off topic" message!........ cupholders.I got my hands on 350 gallons of Valvoline full synthetic 5w-30 a while back, and it runs just fine in my (non-cupholder equipped) truck. Running new motor oil vs waste motor oil?
Like many others I’ve been tempted to save on fuel costs by running a waste oil mix, but I’ve never done it because the carbon in it is bad for the fuel system. But now I found a shop closing down near me that’s selling 325 gallon bulk containers of clean, new Valvoline 5w-30 motor oil for $650...www.oilburners.net
Photo 64......will you just look at that!!! Factory Tri-Y manifolds!!!So there’s a 69 Ford grain truck with an 1145 CAT V8 in it for sale on BigIron. Hear those motors are trash, like it’s successor, the 3208. Thing is, I’ve only been around 3208s which seem to sound different than these 1145s. The video in the listing actually makes it sound like a 6.9 or 7.3. Wonder if they had prechambers…

I don’t think the truck has cupholders.
I see a...actually... two perfectly good spots to mount the cupholders...one to the drawbar...to swing from a net....and another to the heater box...I don’t think the truck has cupholders.
Yeah...I doubt that truck could be whipped around into or outta a parking lot hard enough to pull that stunt...Also no dash to speak of, so coffee exiting the passenger window....thing of the past, or future in this case!!
Makes less power and torque than a stock 6.9 and weighs much more so I’ll bet it is slower than hell froze overYeah...I doubt that truck could be whipped around into or outta a parking lot hard enough to pull that stunt...
But...you never know...it looks like it has potential.
If a 6.9 and 7.3 can move a school bus full of screaming kids, it'd move a grain truck as long as the drivers drink was secure or @XOLATEM was in the bed holding the drivers drink.I actually think a 6.9 or 7.3 would make a good grain truck motor, as long as the grain truck has cupholders
