Pic 1 is water in fuel sensor. If your filter has it, it'll be on the bottom of your fuel filter.

Second is vacuum lines, mostly for your HVAC ducting.

Third is the block heater. Weird end plugs into side of block on passenger side?

Looking good so far, don't forget to prime your fuel system.

Can I do without the vac lines? What's the worst that could happen if those aren't hooked up? Any opinion on using a radiator flush fluids?

It may get stuck on defrost depending on your hvac controls. It should just plug into a vacuum manifold, I believe it'll be on your drivers side fender well near the brake booster.

As for coolant flushes, different products for different material to clean out. If its just mild scale thats loose, usually just water is good enough.

Alright guys, I got a crank and no start. I went through all the fuel lines and did find loose injectors that were bubbling, took them out and some were missing the coper washers, guess those fell out along the way? Fuel leaks are gone but still no start. I purged the air from the valve while engine was cranking till only fuel came out with no air. Verified all caps on snapped on and nothing else is loose or orings cracked on caps. I have something that looks like a ground terminal that is empty. I know something went there before I pulled the engine but I have no pics of what was there. Can you guys please take a look in your tuck and see? This area is directly to the right of the glow plug solenoid when standing in front of the truck looking at engine.

Ground probably isnt the problem. If you have fuel slightly bubbling but not squirting across the engine, it is not fully primed yet.

Aa for that stud, that is the black wire for the glow plug module.

I think it's fully primed stream comes out without any air. What's annoying me is my battery keeps dying. They're new from Costco. But all that cranking is killing them

Alright guys I got it started! Unfortunately it's making a weird thump/ticking sound. Really hoping it's not anything major. Please take a look at the video. The air intake is making a loud sound like someone beating a hand drum along with a ticking sound at the same time. When I partially block the air is quiets down.

It sounds like its thumping through the intake... Which... Hmm..

Videos are alwaya hard to tell if something is wrong or not. The engine isn't shaking at all, so that makes me think it is running smoothly. Air filter fully seated?

I'll verify that. Is there a proper placement for this small tube that runs underneath the air filter?
