Those are the sorta stuff I always go to the wreckin yard for, they lasted longer than the chiacom replacement will.

If you're not going to order a NOS Motorcraft pump from eBay, I'd go with NAPA over Carter or Delphi.

It could be the lift pump itself. Keep an eye on your vacuum. The pumps don't seem to last very long these days.
