Just curious as to what everyone has to fork out to their state for their truck registration?

Lovely Pennsylvania has me at 225.00 for a year on my 1988 F250!!!!

Arkansas has special categories for 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton pickups and vans separate from passenger cars and motorhomes.

My F250 falls under the 3/4 ton class so it's $23.89 with decal fee and postage.

For some odd reason, my motorhome falls under the 3,001-4,500lbs class despite being a 1 ton van chassis, and weighing far more. Technically it should be under either the 1 ton truck/van class, or the 4,501lbs and above weight class. So, it's $27.89 with decal+postage. I'm guessing they are going by the stripped cutaway chassis weight before the RV was built onto it. Eh it's only $4 difference annually.

EDIT: Oh, I should also mention that Arkansas has separate personal property tax on vehicles based on the estimated valuation of it's age, make, model, etc. So, that's more or less a version of registration fees, though you owe it even if you aren't driving it, unlike actual reg fees. So tack on another $20-25 each in annual tax for each my IDIs, and another $10-15'ish for my cargo trailer, which has permanent registration.

You must be registered for see images attach

Maine has an excise tax based on the purchase price - it starts out about 2.7% and drops each year for six years and then remains at the six year level until the end of time - which for me is $134 a year. I caught a break when I first registered it - the town clerk didn't add the value of the diesel engine, XLT package, or 4WD - she looked it up in a book - no misrepresentation from me. Also Maine would like trucks this size registered as commercial - which I suspect costs more. A new truck in Maine can easily exceed $1,400 the first year.. plus sales tax.

I'm also in Pa, have you considered putting antique plates on it? It's a "one -n-done" deal. Buy the plate and never pay for annual license or state safety inspection again.

Just renewed the dually which has commercial tags. Cost me around $165? Don't remember the exact number. Plates are $25 first time you register, plus sales tax, plus $50 to get a title.....

Diego is registered personal, I'll have to look it up but I'm pretty sure it's around 80.

Washington was around $110/ year. Was $60 but since all Amazon workers moved to our county they added a "transportation convenience fee" for the ferries and started a road tax.

Mass this year was $123 for 2 years which isn't terrible. Then $31 for the inspection annually. Veteran plates an extra $15! Why not $15 less? Lol

I agree! I mean I get it, and its not a huge deal as I'm proud to flaunt it around town (mainly the cops here like military), but there are some old retired gents who probably don't have much coin still paying the extra.

Thank you all Veterans for your service!!!!!
