Looks like a pain to install and maintain. What would you put on the rear to match it?

It may look cool but 5.13 gears! They'll kill yer mileage 4 sure. Not to mention top end speed
I think the rear ends are Dana 80

Hm, closed knuckles. Last axle I saw that was like that was from the early 70s. I though they stopped doing that to allow a larger U joint to be fitted.

Should be great for rock crawling with the 513 gears. Will need a locker for that though. Might be why he can't sell it for less than dana 60s sell for in that condition. Probably more trouble than its worth.

that looks familiar to the f450 brush trucks around here.
not sure of the quoted mfg on the pirate thread.
all the ones I know are marmon-herrington.
here's a couple of pics when it's parked under a truck.
good luck finding f450 rims cheap.
one more thing.....
check out the orientation of the pumpkin in the pirate thread. it's on the opposite side of these.
you're going to need to go to a dodge/chevy or divorced type transfer case in order to make it all work.

Would that guy have the unit bearings in the hubs? If so, they are expen$ive. Granted the unit is new and shouldnt need hubs replaced anytime soon, but its something to consider.
